Kathryn Giffen, B.A., Masters of Psychology, Juris Doctorate.

A life long learner, Kathryn has had multiple careers including several years in the practice of law, teaching, has held various leadership positions in the corporate world, and served, and continues to serve, as Director and Chair of Boards in the hospital, finance, sport,  and not-for-profit associations.

Kathryn’s journey in the world of equine partnership began a decade ago, initially as a rider, but soon understanding the unique ability of horses as teachers of mindfulness and healing.  She is a graduate of the FEEL (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) Partnership Program at Horse Spirit Connections located in Tottenham, Ontario,  and works with Tori Poe supporting people in groups to develop leadership skills or facilitate decision making and manage stress, anxiety, and personal healing.

 

Kathryn is the owner and operator of Oz Farms, a peaceful and natural setting in Damascus, Ontario, that is home for a small herd of horses (and two sheep) and a place that provides a safe and healing environment for individual and group experiential learning. Oz Farms holds unique space for people to partner with the horses and discover their personal potential.
